EC & Cabinet

Of the Brownies, by the Brownies, for the Brownies

Brown Government consists of various elected and appointed officials who vote and represent the student body of Brown College. The executive branch has two parts, the Executive Committee (EC) and the Cabinet. Every member of EC (11 officers) is also a member of Cabinet (16 additional members).

Executive Committee meets weekly on Tuesdays at 8pm in the Magister’s House to discuss important campus-wide and college issues, as well as set the agenda for Cabinet—the meetings are open to the entire college! Cabinet meets every other Thursday at 8pm in the Vator Lobby to debrief the college on what is going on in and outside of Brown. Come to Cabinet to enjoy delicious food and engage in the college democracy by arguing about rules and policies that affect your and your friends!
