Peer Academic Advisors
Peer Academic Advisors, PAAs, are there to support you in choosing classes, majors, and sorting out your academic life in general. Each semester, the PAAs will have an Academic Planning session to help people select classes, but don’t be afraid to reach out to them whenever you need help! PAAs are specially trained by the Office of Academic Advising to answer your questions and help solve academic problems; they know all the deadlines and requirements so be sure to talk to them! Below is a list of all the Brown PAAs!
Head PAAs: Donalda Almazan, Maya Ramy, Susannah Wright
The Academic Fellows program is run through the Office of Academic advising, and has branches in all of the 11 Residential colleges. The Fellows are students who have done well in their classes and are willing to help others with their classes! If you are having trouble with a class or need help studying for a test, contact a Fellow, and they will be more than happy to assist. If there is no Fellow at Brown for your subject, reach out to the Head Fellows or OAA to find one. Below is a list of all the Fellows and the subjects they can help you with.
